Our members are anonymous, our program of recovery is not.
Bridging the Gap provides an essential link for newly released alcoholics from treatment or correctional facilities as they integrate back into society and establish themselves into the AA program of recovery on the outside.
Specifically, in District 9, the BTG committee supports the work of connecting with potential members currently incarcerated or in inpatient facilities that have reached out for help and are scheduled for release within District 9.
Any member who wishes to become involved in the BTG program, as well as any professionals in the field of corrections or treatment who would like more information on this essential link AA provides, may contact our BTG Committee and request more information.
We suggest including the District 9 DCM on all emails to ensure information is properly coordinated.
